Jacobs Vehicle Systems extends its reach into the global diesel market by supplying DaimlerChrysler AG with Jake Brake® engine brakes for their 2007 engines.
Bloomfield, CT, January 11 , 2006 -- Jacobs Vehicle Systems has been selected to supply Jake Brake® engine brakes for DaimlerChrysler’s (NYSE: DCX) next generation Global Heavy Duty Engine Platform.
Building upon their long-term relationship with Detroit Diesel Corporation, Jacobs Vehicle Systems is partnering with DaimlerChrysler to supply an integrated Jake Brake® system into their new Commercial Vehicle engines. The global platform will serve NAFTA, Europe, and Japanese markets.
