Jacobs Vehicle Systems reorganizes to provide high technology valve actuation and vehicle retarding solutions.
BLOOMFIELD, Conn., November 21, 2001 -- Jacobs Vehicle Systems™ (www.jakebrake.com--a wholly-owned subsidiary of Danaher Corporation - NYSE: DHR) today announces the realignment of its resources to better serve the globally-consolidating transportation industry by providing technological advancements in engine functionality, power, efficiency and vehicle retarding.

Company President Brian Burnett leads the newly-organized management team at JVS including Bob Perkins, Dave Smith, Vice President, Engineering; Victor Swint, Vice President, Manufacturing, along with incumbents, Debbie LeMay, Shelley Roop, Adish Jain, and Richard Wachter.
